Brenda has more than two decades of experience in product and brand development in the baby/infant industry. Her first entrepreneurial undertaking was Piccolo Bambino, growing the business to over $14mm in Canada and successfully expanding into Europe, Asia, USA, Middle East and Russia. Her passion for toys extends beyond the infant world and has inspired the creation of My Friend Huggles, the industry's first plush doll that will fuel social change.
Brenda won vendor of the year at Toys R US for her dedicated work, educating buyers on importance of Organics. Brenda has also been nominated for two awards; entrepreneur of the year and female entrepreneur of the year for her brilliant work in the nursery industry and she's just gotten started! Brenda is committed to creating awareness and supports causes that will combat anti-bullying. A portion of the proceeds generated from the My Friend Huggles dolls will be given to these programs and related charities. Brenda earned a degree of Interior Design at Dawson College. Her love for adventure is seen by the treasures she has so delicately chosen to adorn her own home. Brenda has raised two fantastic sons with her amazing husband, and has created a toy/tool that will change the landscape of parenting.
Myles makes his computer do things his Grandmother did not think possible. His medium of choice is the power of a MAC and has created everything from business cards and media kits to interactive website and animating a CBC documentary! Myles has joined the team as our in house graphic powerhouse and the cuteness he is channeling makes us sure he was the one to hire. Myles has the experience of both client and account side, working with Q Creative Marketing on the following heavies: Groggy, m:brgr, Moishes, NASCAR, Hangten, Sim Audio, Ice-Pac, and many more. Myles studied Fine Arts at Concordia, John Abbott in Creative Arts and Theatre and earned his tech expertise from the International Academy of Design in Montreal with an AEC in Computer Graphics. For My Friend Huggles, he brings out-of-the-box creative genius and a wicked sense of humour. He loves chocolate, bad TV, jogging and Zombie movies.
